Before Getting Permanent Makeup (PMU)

1. Do Your Research
  - Choose a licensed, experienced artist.
  - Check reviews, portfolio, and hygiene.
2. Consultation
  - Discuss shape, color, skin type, allergies, and expectations.
3. Avoid Certain Products/Procedures (24–72 hrs before)
  - No alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil.
  - Avoid tanning, peels, facials, Botox (2–4 weeks before).
4. Stop Active Skincare
  - Avoid retinoids, acids, exfoliants for a week.
  - Don’t wax or thread eyebrows right before.
5. Allergy Test
  - Patch test may be done to check pigment reaction.
6. Hydrate & Rest
  - Healthy, well-rested skin heals better and faster.
